Grey composite doors.

Grey composite door installations across Cornwall — real jobs, not stock photography.

Grey covers everything from pearl grey through to anthracite in this gallery, and it's the dominant colour on new-build estates across the St Austell corridor, Bodmin and Newquay, where it was specified on the original window systems and the front door is chosen to match.

Unlike the black gallery, most of the doors filtered here are contemporary flush styles rather than period panelled ones, since grey is a relatively recent front-door colour in Cornwall compared with the traditional black, cream and navy palette.

Matching a grey door to grey windows

Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) is the standard used across most anthracite window systems fitted to Cornish new-builds since around 2015, so a door in the same shade ties the whole frontage together rather than introducing a near-miss colour that looks unintentional.

Lighter greys for softer frontages

Pearl grey and mid-grey tones sit further along the scale and suit rendered homes that want a contemporary feel without the strength of full anthracite — several of the coastal properties in this gallery use a lighter grey specifically to keep the entrance from looking too heavy against pale walls.
