The Skiddaw Georgian's 12-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Chartwell Green, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Black is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the half-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Anthracite Grey gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all.
