Palette

Every Endurance colour we fit in Cornwall.

Anthracite Grey

RAL 7016 dark grey — the default modern new-build choice, brilliant with white render or grey slate.

Black

The sharpest contemporary choice — matt-grained, no shine, no glare.

Chartwell Green

The single most-installed Endurance colour in Cornwall — a soft sage-green that flatters granite and painted-render frontages equally.

Cream

Warm off-white, a heritage-friendly alternative to bright white for character properties.

Duck Egg

Soft pastel blue that comes into its own on coastal cottages between Padstow and St Ives.

French Navy

Deep navy — timeless coastal front-door colour, excellent on white render.

Golden Oak

Warm timber-effect woodgrain — a traditional favourite where a natural-wood look is wanted without the upkeep.

Green

Bold classic green — ideal for rural Cornish homes, farmhouses and properties among trees and hedgerows.

Grey

Versatile mid-tone grey that sits comfortably between anthracite and white on modern and traditional doors.

Pastel Blue

Light, welcoming blue that brightens north-facing frontages and coastal cottages.

Pink

Playful and characterful — stands out on cottages and terraces while still feeling at home in Cornish villages.

Purple

Rich, distinctive purple that adds personality to period and heritage properties.

Red

Bold heritage red — a genuine statement door, popular on farmhouses and character cottages.

Rich Red

Deep, sophisticated red with a slightly muted tone — impact without glare.

Sage

Soft heritage green that blends beautifully with Cornish stone, slate and country gardens.

Schwarz Braun Black

Deep brown-black with subtle warmth — a premium timber-effect finish for high-end traditional doors.

Slate Grey

Medium blue-grey that reads as Cornish slate against granite walls.

White

Crisp, clean and bright — works on both modern and heritage frontages across Cornwall.

Wine Red

Deep burgundy that brings a refined, heritage feel to Georgian, Victorian and farmhouse frontages.

Yellow

Cheerful, high-visibility yellow that suits cottages, coastal homes and welcoming entrances.

Choosing the right Endurance door colour for a Cornish home.

The two things worth thinking about before you pick a colour are (1) what the door will sit against — granite, slate, painted render, brick, timber cladding — and (2) how much direct sun it gets. Chartwell Green and Duck Egg Blue read beautifully against granite and slate. Anthracite and Jet Black are sharpest against white or light render. Rosewood and Racing Green are heritage-friendly on painted cottages. If the door faces due south and gets full-day Cornish sun, avoid the very darkest shades on wide sidelight configurations — matt lighter greys handle heat gain slightly better.

Dual-colour Endurance doors.

Dual-colour is one of Endurance's best free options: pick any core colour outside and White (or another light colour) inside. The interior stays bright and matches skirtings, architraves and stair balustrades, without dictating the exterior. Common Cornwall combinations: Anthracite / White, Chartwell / White, Racing Green / Cream, Rosewood / White.

Colour matching to existing windows.

If you have existing anthracite, black, cream or Chartwell Green uPVC or aluminium windows, we colour-match your Endurance door at the survey — bring an offcut, a handle plate, or we'll take a spectrophotometer reading on site. Perfect matches are straightforward for standard RAL greys and greens; heritage colours like Painswick or Sage may sit a shade off — we'll show you a physical sample before you commit.
