On a cob elevation the panel lines read as intentional rather than decorative, which matters on the terraced streets around St Austell and Redruth where every door on the row is visible from the pavement. If your hallway is genuinely dark, this is one of the better-lit options in the full-glazed category without stepping up to a full-glass design. The Mckinley's 14-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Irish Oak, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Duck Egg is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the full-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Schwarz Braun Black gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own cob; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight. Dual-colour finishing — a different shade inside and out — is available on the Mckinley at no extra cost, which is worth considering if the hallway decor doesn't match the exterior palette you want.
