The Lingmoor is built on Endurance's 48mm solid engineered-timber core, so it stays rigid in Cornish wind and driving rain rather than flexing like a foam-filled slab. Roughly 9% of the face is glazed across 3 apertures, and every unit is fitted with toughened, argon-filled double glazing as standard. Supplied and installed across Cornwall by our own CERTASS-registered fitters, finished in any of the 20 Endurance colours shown on this page.
Cornwall Composite Doors fits the Lingmoor more often than most of the half-glazed range, with 9% of the face glazed across 3 separate apertures. That proportion of glass is deliberate rather than decorative: a mid-sized run like this balances daylight against privacy. Every unit is toughened and argon-filled as standard, and the 3-aperture layout is what gives the Lingmoor its particular rhythm on the door face.
We recommend the Lingmoor most often for new-build entrances, where the half-glazed proportions do more of the visual work than an elaborate glass design would.

Matching the Lingmoor to your property type
At 9% glazed, the Lingmoor is neither a bright, glass-dominant design nor a fully private one — it occupies the middle ground that suits new-build entrances. We would point a customer with a dark, narrow hall in Padstow towards this design over a solid panel, and towards it over a full-glazed design if they have young children or simply prefer not to be visible from the street when answering the door. As with every Endurance design, the Lingmoor is backed by the 10-year manufacturer guarantee covering the core, the hardware and the colour finish, regardless of which property type it's fitted to.
Getting the colour right on the Lingmoor
The Lingmoor's 3-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Slate Grey, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Schwarz Braun Black is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the half-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Quartz Grey gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own pale render; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight. If you're unsure between two finishes, our configurator lets you preview the Lingmoor in each of the 21 colours before you commit to a survey.
Getting the glazing and hardware right
Oxford is the glass design most customers choose for the Lingmoor's apertures, since it obscures the view through without darkening the hallway the way a heavily patterned glass can. Regency is worth considering if the door sits under a porch roof, where privacy is already handled by the structure and a clearer glass lets more light through. Pair either with a handle finish that matches your existing window furniture so the whole frontage reads as one decision rather than several. Our CERTASS-registered fitters install the Lingmoor in a single day in almost every case, including full disposal of the old door and frame.
