Where the Esk looks right
At 8% glazed, the Esk is neither a bright, glass-dominant design nor a fully private one — it occupies the middle ground that suits balanced light and privacy. We would point a customer with a dark, narrow hall in Fowey towards this design over a solid panel, and towards it over a full-glazed design if they have young children or simply prefer not to be visible from the street when answering the door. Whatever the property type, every Esk we quote is measured and templated on site rather than to a standard size, so the panel and glazing proportions shown here translate exactly to the finished door.
Which of the 21 Endurance colours suit the Esk
The Esk's 5-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Anthracite Grey, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Black is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the half-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Claystone gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own granite; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight.
