Roughly 11% of the face is glazed across 2 apertures, and every unit is fitted with toughened, argon-filled double glazing as standard. Supplied and installed across Cornwall by our own CERTASS-registered fitters, finished in any of the 20 Endurance colours shown on this page.

Which Cornish properties suit the Bruce
At 11% glazed, the Bruce is neither a bright, glass-dominant design nor a fully private one — it occupies the middle ground that suits new-build entrances. We would point a customer with a dark, narrow hall in Mousehole towards this design over a solid panel, and towards it over a full-glazed design if they have young children or simply prefer not to be visible from the street when answering the door. As with every Endurance design, the Bruce is backed by the 10-year manufacturer guarantee covering the core, the hardware and the colour finish, regardless of which property type it's fitted to.
Getting the colour right on the Bruce
The Bruce's 2-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Brilliant Blue, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Green is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the half-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Rich Red gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own reclaimed brick; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight. Woodgrain finishes such as Golden Oak and Irish Oak are available on the Bruce as well as the flat colours, and tend to suit this panel shape particularly well on older properties.
Hardware and glass options for the Bruce
Neo is the glass design most customers choose for the Bruce's apertures, since it obscures the view through without darkening the hallway the way a heavily patterned glass can. Kensington is worth considering if the door sits under a porch roof, where privacy is already handled by the structure and a clearer glass lets more light through. Pair either with a handle finish that matches your existing window furniture so the whole frontage reads as one decision rather than several. Multi-point locking and a 3-star anti-snap cylinder are fitted as standard regardless of glass or colour choice, so the security specification doesn't change whichever route you take with the Bruce.
