Endurance Aneto composite door

The Aneto is built on Endurance's 48mm solid engineered-timber core, so it stays rigid in Cornish wind and driving rain rather than flexing like a foam-filled slab. Roughly 5% of the face is glazed across 6 apertures, and every unit is fitted with toughened, argon-filled double glazing as standard. Supplied and installed across Cornwall by our own CERTASS-registered fitters, finished in any of the 20 Endurance colours shown on this page.

The Aneto is one of the part-glazed designs in the Endurance single-door library, with 5% of the face glazed across 6 separate apertures. That proportion of glass is deliberate rather than decorative: a small run of apertures like this lets light reach a hallway without turning the door into a window. Every unit is toughened and argon-filled as standard, and the 6-aperture layout is what gives the Aneto its particular rhythm on the door face.

The name nods to the highest Pyrenean summit, and — whether or not that heritage was intentional in the naming — the Aneto has the presence to carry it: it reads as a considered, slightly more architectural design than Endurance's plainer numbered panels. We fit it across Cornwall on subtle period detail and it has become one of our better-liked part-glazed styles for exactly that reason.

This is a part glazed design. Anthracite Grey delivers architectural impact and reads sharp against brickwork, render, granite and slate across Cornwall.

Fitted by our own CERTASS-registered installers right across Cornwall — Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Penzance, St Austell, Bodmin, Camborne, Redruth and every village between.

Where the Aneto looks right

With 5% of the face glazed across 6 apertures, the Aneto sits comfortably on village cottages — the glazing is proportioned to lift a hallway without turning the entrance into a shop window. On a granite elevation the panel lines read as intentional rather than decorative, which matters on the terraced streets around Newquay and Padstow where every door on the row is visible from the pavement. If your hallway is genuinely dark, this is one of the better-lit options in the part-glazed category without stepping up to a full-glass design. As with every Endurance design, the Aneto is backed by the 10-year manufacturer guarantee covering the core, the hardware and the colour finish, regardless of which property type it's fitted to.

Finishing the Aneto in the right shade

The Aneto's 6-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Cream, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Quartz Grey is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the part-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, French Navy gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own granite; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight. Dual-colour finishing — a different shade inside and out — is available on the Aneto at no extra cost, which is worth considering if the hallway decor doesn't match the exterior palette you want.

Getting the glazing and hardware right

Diamond is the glass design most customers choose for the Aneto's apertures, since it obscures the view through without darkening the hallway the way a heavily patterned glass can. Regency is worth considering if the door sits under a porch roof, where privacy is already handled by the structure and a clearer glass lets more light through. Pair either with a handle finish that matches your existing window furniture so the whole frontage reads as one decision rather than several. Multi-point locking and a 3-star anti-snap cylinder are fitted as standard regardless of glass or colour choice, so the security specification doesn't change whichever route you take with the Aneto.
