Roughly 18% of the face is glazed across 8 apertures, and every unit is fitted with toughened, argon-filled double glazing as standard. Supplied and installed across Cornwall by our own CERTASS-registered fitters, finished in any of the 20 Endurance colours shown on this page.
The Endurance Ainos is a full-glazed door built around 8 glazed apertures, with 18% of the face glazed across 8 separate apertures. That proportion of glass is deliberate rather than decorative: a run this generous is built for hallways that need genuine daylight, not just a glimpse of the porch. Every unit is toughened and argon-filled as standard, and the 8-aperture layout is what gives the Ainos its particular rhythm on the door face.
The name nods to a Greek mountain on Cephalonia, and — whether or not that heritage was intentional in the naming — the Ainos has the presence to carry it: it reads as a considered, slightly more architectural design than Endurance's plainer numbered panels. We fit it across Cornwall on modern new builds and it has become one of our better-liked full-glazed styles for exactly that reason.

Where the Ainos looks right
With 18% of the face glazed across 8 apertures, the Ainos sits comfortably on open-plan hallways — the glazing is proportioned to lift a hallway without turning the entrance into a shop window. On a pale render elevation the panel lines read as intentional rather than decorative, which matters on the terraced streets around Bodmin and Looe where every door on the row is visible from the pavement. If your hallway is genuinely dark, this is one of the better-lit options in the full-glazed category without stepping up to a full-glass design. We would always recommend seeing the Ainos against a working sample of your chosen colour before ordering, since the panel's proportions change how a colour reads compared with a plainer design.
Which of the 21 Endurance colours suit the Ainos
The Ainos's 8-aperture glazing pattern photographs well in Chartwell Green, where the frame lines around the glass stay crisp rather than disappearing into the panel colour. Green is the other finish we would put in front of a customer choosing this design — it is muted enough that the glazing, not the door colour, is the first thing you notice on the full-glazed face. For a bolder frontage, Golden Oak gives the same proportions a completely different character without changing the layout at all. Whichever you choose, ask to see a physical sample against your own pale render; screens flatten differences that are obvious in daylight. Dual-colour finishing — a different shade inside and out — is available on the Ainos at no extra cost, which is worth considering if the hallway decor doesn't match the exterior palette you want.
Glass designs and hardware for the Ainos
In the Ainos's apertures, obscure glass such as Kensington keeps the hallway private while still passing daylight, and is what we fit as standard unless a customer asks otherwise. Diamond is the better choice where the door faces a garden or a quiet lane rather than the street, since more of the pattern reads as clear. Hardware-wise, a chrome or satin handle set suits the 8-aperture rhythm on a more contemporary elevation, while pewter or black points it towards period streets in Bodmin.
