White Foiled Composite Doors

White Foiled is Endurance's smooth foiled white — a brighter, flatter white than the woodgrain finish, ideal on modern frames and porches.

White foiled is a smooth, high-opacity white applied as a foil rather than a moulded woodgrain finish. It gives a flatter, cleaner white than the standard grained white and is the closest match to modern smooth uPVC and aluminium frames.

It is the right choice on contemporary flush doors where visible grain texture would undermine the clean surface the design depends on.

White Foiled in detail

Choosing White Foiled for a Cornish home.

Smooth versus grained white

The standard white finish carries a light woodgrain texture, which suits traditional panelled doors. White foiled is smooth, which suits flush modern doors and any frontage where the windows are smooth-faced. Side by side under raking light the difference is immediately obvious.

Matching new-build joinery

Most modern Cornish new-builds use smooth white or anthracite frames. If yours are smooth, white foiled will match; the grained white will read as a slightly different product even though the colour is the same.

Keeping white foiled looking new in a coastal climate

The smooth surface is the easiest of all the finishes to wipe clean because there is no grain texture to hold dust. Cornwall's salt-laden air is the single biggest factor in how any door finish ages, so we fit marine-grade stainless hardware as standard within two miles of the coast and recommend a rinse with clean water and a soft cloth every couple of months. No polish, no solvents, no jet wash. Done that way, the colour is covered by a 10-year colour-fastness guarantee and the door itself by a 10-year mechanical guarantee.

Pairs well with: Chrome, satin or black hardware; modern and flush door styles.
