Overview
Lock snapping is the most common forced-entry method in the UK - takes under 30 seconds with basic tools. A TS007 3-star or Sold Secure Diamond cylinder has sacrificial snap sections and a hardened core that make the attack fail. Every door we fit gets one as standard.
Symptoms
- Your current cylinder is unmarked or 1-star.
- Cylinder protrudes more than 2mm from the handle.
- Insurance is asking for 3-star spec.
- Recent burglaries locally.
Common causes
- Standard cylinders were the default on many pre-2018 composite doors.

- Any door without a 3-star cylinder - same-day upgrade available.

- Combine 3-star cylinder with a 2-star security handle for full attack resistance.
