Composite Door Buying Guide
A step-by-step guide to specifying a composite door properly.

Step 1 — Style
Match the door style to the property. Modern flush doors suit new builds; traditional six-panel designs suit period terraces; stable and cottage designs suit rural properties.
Step 2 — Colour
Consider the render/brickwork, the neighbours, and — if you're in a conservation area — the planning guidance. Chartwell Green, Anthracite Grey and Black are our most-installed colours in Cornwall.
Step 3 — Glass and hardware
Frosted glazing is popular for street-facing doors. Choose hardware finish first, then match the letterbox, knocker and spyhole.
Step 4 — Security specification
Insist on PAS24:2022 as a minimum, with a 3-star anti-snap cylinder.
